Getting Started with Media

The Made Live Media features allows you to upload your own media, select from our free library, or use Made Live Assist to generate an image based on your suggestions. Media is available in the Storyboard and Illustrator (coming soon) feature, and can be found in the bottom right menu. 

Getting To Know The Media Board

Our Media feature is presented in board format which means you can place it anywhere on the screen and change it's size which gives you more space work on what's important to you; your book. 

After opening the media board: 

• Grab the top title menu bar to drag the board where it's the least intrusive. 
• If you still need more room, you can resize vertically and horizontally the board so it's even less distracting.
• You can minimize the board to make it even small, which will save time when re-opening it. You can drag the minified board around the desk at your convenience.  

Media Is More Than Pictures

At Made Live, our media manager is your creative partner that goes beyond handling pictures. It's a versatile toolkit that encompasses AI-generated images, and soon, it will include handy shapes. Plus, you'll discover pre-made templates that can incorporate essential elements like copyright, barcode, title, and much more. Unleash your creativity with the MEDIA manager, where your storytelling possibilities are endless!

Adding Media To Your Spread

Working with media in Made Live is as easy as can be. To add a picture to your spread, simply click on the image you want and drag it onto the spread. It's a seamless and intuitive process that lets your creativity flow effortlessly onto the page!

Generate Your Own Images 

The AI magic lives here. Descriptions transform into sketches and imagery, adding depth to characters and settings as you design your book. Soon, you'll have the power to describe unique details and conjure images to use in your book's final illustrations. 

Shapes (Coming Soon)

Simplify communication with your illustrator using shapes. Combine and arrange them to stand in for simple illustrations, speeding up the creative conversation.
