Getting input during the planning phase can strengthen your story’s foundation. Made Live makes it easy to share your character development, plot structure, and other planning elements with collaborators.
How to Share Your Planning Work
- Click the Share button in the top menu bar
- In the sharing dialog, select Planning from the workspace options
- Choose your preferred format:
- PDF: A complete document of all planning elements
- Word Document: An editable, trackable format for sharing with collaborators
- Toggle on/off what elements you would like to include in your planning export
- Individual Elements: Select specific components (Characters, Plot, etc.)
- All Elements: Flow, Setting, Tone, Characters, Plot, Target, POV, Theme
- Click Generate
- Once processing is complete, your Download will appear in the downloads folder on your computer
- Send the downloaded file(s) to your collaborators via email
Tips for Effective Sharing
- Share with writing groups to get early feedback on story structure
- Send character profiles to illustrators early in the process
- Use planning documents to align with co-authors on narrative direction
- Include specific questions to guide your collaborators’ feedback
- Consider sharing your target audience information for context
Your planning export will include all the information you’ve entered in the selected planning sections, formatted in an easy-to-read document that highlights the key elements of your story development.
