Made Live is thrilled to announce our CEO and Co-Founder, Karen Richard, has progressed and is among the Top 12 semi-finalists for the 2024 Okanagan Angel Summit.

The 6th annual Okanagan Angel Summit is underway. The investor group has selected the Top 12 companies that will pitch at the Semi-Finals.

The companies participating in this Okanagan Angel Summit have been narrowed down by the angel investors. 12 companies will be pitch the Semi Finals this week, delivering a 10 minute pitch, followed by Q&A. This time allows for the investors to get a more in depth look at the business before they will have to select the Top 6 who will pitch live at the Public Finale on May 23 for an investment of $195,000.

Made Live 2024 Okanagan Angel Summit Quarter Finalist

The Top 24 have been selected. The journey to the Summit has begun!

We’re proud to announce that Made Live’s CEO and co-founder, Karen Richard, has been selected among the 2024 Okanagan Angel Summit Quarter Finalists.

The Okanagan Angel Summit angel investor group has selected this year’s Top 24. The companies selected will participate in the Quarter Finals where they deliver a 3-minute pitch followed by a 3-minutes of Q&A with the investor group. The 31 participating investors have already evaluated and refined the list from over 40 participating companies to the Top 24. They will continue to meet week over week as they narrow down to the top startups that will pitch at the finale on May 23 for an investment of up to $200,000. 

This is the 6th annual Summit, and the caliber of companies increases each year. This year’s top 24 is a dynamic set of companies working to solve unique challenges in a variety of sectors including; wildfire prevention, mental health, data analytics, and content creation.

The Top 12 Semi-Finalists will be selected announced soon, with the Top 6 later selected to pitch at the finale on May 23, 2024.
